Comment:
Another movie featuring very good special effects but based on a particularly poor story. The dragon seems absolutely real, it is very well drawn and animated, it integrates very well with the landscape and with the 'real' crew, although the physical contacts with the people are very limited.

The story is rather simple, ordinary and sometimes stupid, this is what really let the movie down. If it wasn't for the special effects of the dragon this movie would have no reason to exist!

Moreover there aren't any particular positive details which are usually a very important thing for me. There was nothing particularly interesting or memorable, actually there wasn't even anything particularly negative, which means that everything was absolutely flat!

Fortunately the movie wasn't boring, it was even quite quick, except eventually the very beginning, and there are a few amusing dialogues and situations. The finale could have been worse but it is far from touching or intriguing.
