Comment:
A very interesting movie with a dramatic and touching ending, just I like it to be! Although The Spitfire Grill cannot be simply remembered for the good (but possibly not original) plot, this is a good starting point on which a good movie can be built. Certain parts of the plot are quite predictable but never completely ordinary and the rhythm is slow but it rarely becomes too dull.

What I particularly liked of this movie is the setting, ie. the typical small village in the countryside with the typical small restaurant, the wood, the green hills, etc. The great photography is supported by some inspiring background music, hence the resulting feeling is excellent.

The script is centered around people's characterization, the character of Percy (and Alison Elliot's acting) in particular is really nice, alone it would be a good reason to see this movie (if you like this genre, of course!).
