Plot:
Erin Grant loses care and custody of her daughter when she's divorced from her husband Darrell, a small-time thief. Struggling for money, she is a dancer at a nightclub, where one night Congressman Dilbeck (in disguise) attacks another member of the audience. A spectator, who recognizes Dilbeck and is fond of Erin, offers to get back her daughter by blackmailing Dilbeck. Things do not work out as planned, though. - Thomas Meyer
There are not particularly positive or negative points about the plot, it is really simple and sometimes predictable but it doesn't show any particular flaw. There are a lot of amusing situations which are the strong point of the movie, without this irony the whole movie would have been much worse. The ending is probably a bit too funny and cartoon-like but it is far better than a plain ending which is common in this sort of 'light' movies. Rating: 7.2 ![]()
