Plot:
Tom Mullen, rich airline owner, is shocked when his son is kidnapped. He is willing to pay the two million dollar ransom, but the drop goes wrong. So Tom turns the ransom money into a bounty on the head of the kidnapper. - Karl Rose



Comment:
It has been an interesting movie for the first hour but then the plot started to degenerate and the last scene is really bad, the typical 'final fight' between the good guy and the bad guy (and guess who wins!).

The idea wasn't bad and the movie isn't bad either but an interesting ending is really missing here, it would have been much better if the bad guy would have escaped with twice the money he originally asked for! Moreover the most dramatic scenes aren't as emotional as they could have been and the few action scenes aren't much exciting.

A good point is that Tom (Mel Gibson) is not the typical innocent man, while a bad point is that Jimmy (Gary Sinise) is the typical evil bandit surrounded by a group of not very determined assistants.
