Comment:
I see a lot of movies, some of them are interesting, some of them are stupid or irritating, but I've rarely seen a movie as useless as Feeling Minnesota. Useless is the best word I can find to describe it, it doesn't deserve any other adjective, it isn't even worthy of a particularly strong criticism!

The story is about Freddie who is forced to marry Sam Clayton, a man she really doesn't love, due to an unspecified story of stealing. However, on the wedding day, she meets Sam's younger brother Jjaks and she falls in love with him, or probably she just tries to escape from her desperate situation with his help... I couldn't be bothered to analyse the story more closely! Their getaway soon becomes problematic and degenerates into drama when Sam finds his brother and his wife in a motel...

Probably I was on a bad day, but I really never managed to get into this movie at all! I did get suddenly awake after about one hour of dullness when everything seemed to become more dramatic and thrilling but this excitement vanished quite quickly as the movie turned back to a stupid comedy. This part is the only thing that somehow saved this movie from falling straight at the bottom of my personal chart!

The characters are absolutely distasteful, none of them seems to have the charm needed to get more attention from the audience. Cameron Diaz can only be saved for her beauty since her performance is quite flat. On the top of the worst performances (or maybe on the top of the most disliking characters...) there is Dan Aykroyd with the character of a corrupted cop closely followed by the far too stupid brothers Sam and Jjaks. I'm sure there are some other minor characters but I didn't noticed them at all...

The beginning of the story is uninteresting, in the middle it gains some dramatic trait but the ending is quite stupid and unlikely. As a whole, the view of this movie hasn't been a pleasing experience and even the dramatic parts, which I usually appreciate a lot, have not been exploited properly and they have been completely ruined by the stupid resolution.
